Mayfair making a comeback at Cedar Crest College

Arts festival set to be held on campus in 2018

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Cedar Crest College has announced it will host the Mayfair Festival of the Arts on its campus next year.

Mayfair has been a Lehigh Valley tradition for nearly 30 years, but it was announced last year that this year's festival had been canceled due to poor attendance and community support.

Cedar Crest College says it's planning to take Mayfair "back to its roots, bringing festival-goers the same experience they loved decades ago, just steps from where it all began."

The college is planning to hold the event on its Allentown campus over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27, 2018, featuring food and craft vendors, artists, music and live performances.

“Cedar Crest is honored to carry this tradition forward for the Lehigh Valley,” said Lauren Condon, Director of Student Union and Engagement at Cedar Crest.

“We are confident that Mayfair at Cedar Crest will become yet another signature event presented by the College for the benefit of the entire community.”

Admission and on-campus parking will be free.
