Mexican authorities issue Amber Alert for Amy Yu

Police are concerned for her well-being.

Mexican authorities have issued an Amber Alert for missing Allentown teenager Amy Yu.

The alert, which was posted to the Twitter page Alerta Amber Mexico Thursday night, says police believe Yu, 16, and Kevin Esterly, 45, are traveling inside the country.

Yu disappeared from her Allentown bus stop on March 5.

Police say they believe Esterly and Yu formed a secret relationship after meeting at church and then ran off together.

Yu's family members say they miss her and they want her to come home.

Esterly faces a charge of interference with the custody of a child.
