Missing man with dementia found in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - An Allentown man who went missing Thursday night was found safe and sound after a wfmz.com reader spotted him and called police.

71-year-old Henry Hines was last seen around 5:45 p.m. in the 2800 Block of Klein Street and police were notified to look for him.

Hines suffers from early onset dementia so it was important to find him quickly.

Thankfully, police say an eagle-eyed reader saw Hines walking down the street, matched him to the picture on wfmz.com, and called police.

Hines was found around 8:30 p.m. near Romeo’s Delicatessen on N. Front Street and W. Allen Street taken back to his family unharmed.
