Monroe County man charged in Easton copper theft

EASTON, Pa. - A Monroe County man was arrested for allegedly stealing copper downspouts from an Easton home.

Mark Parcell, 31, of Effort, is accused of taking two 12-foot pieces of copper downspouts attached to a home in the 400 block of West Burke Street, according to court documents.

Police were able to track down Parcell thanks to an observant witness who took note of Parcell's license plate number, according to court documents.

He was sent to prison after failing to post $5,000 bail, according to court documents.
