Moravian College ranked among the best colleges in the country

The College makes The Princeton Review's College guide

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Good news for Moravian College, just in time for the start of a brand new academic year.

The college has been named one of the the best in the country in "The Best 379 Colleges," a publication of the The Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review is an education services company which ranks all 2,500 four-year colleges in the US and profiles only about 15% in the college guide.

The guide includes detailed profiles of the colleges with rating scores for all schools in eight categories, and ranks the top 20 schools in the book in 62 categories based on surveys of 130,000 students attending the colleges.

The choices of schools included in the selection is also based on institutional data collected about the schools, feedback from students attending the schools, visits to schools over the years by The Princeton Review officials and the opinions of the staff and a 30-member National College Counselor Advisory Board.

The Princeton Review also ensures a wide representation of colleges in the book by region, size, selectivity and character, according to Robert Franek, senior vice president at The Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review commends Moravian College for its outstanding academics, which is the primary criteria for selection of schools in the book, and also praises the school for its "strong faculty and academic programs that challenge students academically."
