Motorcyclist killed in Rt. 22 crash...

EASTON, Pa. - The coroner has identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon along Route 22 in Easton. 

Robert Parvin, 18, of Bethlehem, was pronounced dead Thursday evening at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. The coroner performed an autopsy Friday and determined Parvin died from multiple blunt force injuries and ruled his death an accident.

Police say around 4:30 p.m. the Parvin crashed near mile marker 336.9 in the eastbound lane.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to police. The roadway reopened several hours later.

Parvin was brought to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Easton Police Department Accident Reconstruction team and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
