BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Musikfest may be over, but you can relive the music and magic through a special print.
The Musikfest 30th aniversary print and postcard feature an image of fireworks exploding over SteelStacks on the last night of the 2013 festival.
The photograph was taken by volunteer photographer Ted Colegrove from the roof of the ArtsQuest Center August 11.
"Our volunteer photographers are at Musikfest day in and day out, looking for unique ways to capture the energy, excitement and feel of the festival," said ArtsQuest Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Curt Mosel.
"We've always said what an incredible resource our volunteers are. Ted's photograph is an excellent example of the amazing work that our talented photographers create. We've received a number of inquiries in regard to this image since we shared it with our patrons on our website and via social media, so we're excited that we can make it available for purchase as a work of art for home or office."
The print measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches and sells for $24.95. It's available online at www.musikfest.org, as well as the Stacks Shop at ArtsQuest Center, located at 101 Founders Way in Bethlehem.
The postcard of the same print costs $1 and is only available at the Stacks Shop.
On August 24, the public can meet Colegrove and have him sign their copies of the print during an artist signing at the Stacks Shop from 4-6 p.m.
"I've always enjoyed live music. It's where artists and their fans really connect," says Colegrove, a Bethlehem resident. "Musikfest gives artists a perfect venue for their music to affect not only their fans, but new listeners too. This image highlights some of the best days of the summer. I look forward to the festival each year."
