Man convicted for deadly shooting in Easton denied new trial

EASTON, Pa. - An Easton man sentenced in a deadly shooting will not get the new trial he asked for.

A judge upheld the conviction for Naheem Adams on Monday.

Adams was sentenced last year in connection with the 2012 fatal shooting of George Jeter.

Jeter was found dead in the 1400 block of Butler Street, officials said. They said the two men had an ongoing feud.

Adams is serving 20 to 40 years behind bars.
