Nam Knights induct Jared Brown as an honorary member

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A Lehigh Valley veterans and law enforcement organization rallies around a brave, inspiring young man.

We first told you about Jared Brown a few years ago.

Jared was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at just 14 months old, and was confined to a wheel chair at age 14.

He spent three years working with physical therapists until he finally was able to walk with his graduating class at Parkland High School.

Now, Jared is scheduled to have his third brain surgery next month.

In a show of support, the Nam Knights organization inducted Jared as an honorary member and thanked him for his volunteer work to help veterans in need, including fundraisers and clothes drives.

"We wanted to show him how much we really appreciate it, said Nam Knights member Timothy Parson. "He's someone to emulate."

The Nam Knights presented Jared with an official Knights vest.
