Nearly a dozen charges dropped in Hellertown Xanax case

HELLERTOWN, Pa. - A 32-year-old woman accused of recruiting two teenagers to sell her Xanax pills was held in court for her formal arraignment Thursday, but was only upheld to one out of multiple charges filed.

The judge determined Krystl Slifer, of Hellertown, will head to criminal court facing a charge of conspiracy - manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.

Nearly a dozen other charges were withdrawn in the lower court, some including the solicitation of minors to traffic drugs, unlawful contact with a minor and conspiracy of the corruption of minors.

Slifer is due for criminal court Dec. 4.
