Nittany Lion bench installed in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Nittany Lion's roar can now be heard in Bethlehem.

Tuesday afternoon representatives of Penn State Lehigh Valley joined Mayor John Callahan and developer Dennis Benner to celebrate the installation of a park bench with a life-size replica of the school's famed Nittany Lion mascot.

The new addition at the corner of Third and New streets is intended to spread Penn State pride among students, alumni and friends of the university.
