One person seriously injured after car strikes deer

Person had to be flown to nearby hospital.

LEHIGH TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Two people were injured after a car hit a deer in Lehigh Twp. Friday night.

According to Northampton County officials, the crash happened around 5 p.m. in the 3900 block of Rt. 248 near Indian Trail Road.

First responders had to extricate the occupants from the car and one person had to be flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after reportedly being partially ejected.
