Police: Man shot near Bethlehem park

BETHLEHEM, Pa, - One person was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the area of a park in Bethlehem.

Police confirmed a male was shot early Sunday morning in the area of Yosko Park, which is located along Hayes, East 6th and Pfeifle streets. Scanner reports indicate the call for the shooting victim came in around 5:30 a.m.

Police said the victim is at a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

There's no word yet on if any suspects have been identified.

One neighbor told 69 News she heard "two very loud shots" early Sunday morning. She told 69 News that in this area "fights happen all the time, but not shots."

A trail of blood could be seen in an area cordoned off by police.
