Palmer Township fire draws huge response

The call came in around 4:30 p.m.

PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A fire at a Palmer Township home drew a massive response from firefighters Thursday night.

The call came in around 4:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a home located at the intersection of Hobson Blvd. and Freemansburg Avenue burning.

According to Northampton County officials, the three-story home had been converted into multiple apartments.

It took more than an hour to get the fire completely under control. Witnesses say the home appeared gutted by the blaze.

There's no word on injuries or what caused the fire.
