Pastor to be installed at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem

The Rev. J.C. Austin will be installed as pastor and head of staff of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.

The service will take place March 4 at 3 p.m. and will cap a year-long national search.

Austin is well known in the Presbyterian Church USA and has spoken and taught widely throughout the denomination.

"It is a rare opportunity to work with a historic congregation that is reinventing itself for faithful and effective ministry in the 21st century, using that history as a foundation for the future rather than an anchor to the past," Austin said.
