Phantoms double up Thunderbirds in season opener, 4-2

Allentown, PA - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms opened up their 2016-17 season Saturday night in the Queen City against the Springfield Thunderbirds. 

Mark Zengerle would light the lamp 56 second into the season to give the Phantoms an early 1-0 lead.

T.J. Brennan would score and Danick Martel found the net twice in this one. Anthony Stolarz made 33 saves.  The Phantoms win their season opener, 4-2.  Lehigh Valley hosts Bridgeport Friday night at 7:05.
