Phantoms may buy Steel Ice Center

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are in talks about possibly buying the Steel Ice Center.

According to Angela Davis, the assistant general manager at the Steel Ice Center, the Phantoms are one of the organizations discussing a possible sale.

Davis says the Steel Ice Center, located at 320 East 1st Street in Bethlehem, has been for sale since it opened in 2003.

According to their website, the Steel Ice Center offers programs in figure skating, ice hockey, speed skating and recreational skating and is home to many teams, clubs and organizations.

Nothing has been finalized at this point about any buyer despite ongoing conversations about its sale.
