Pharmacy owner shot in Whitehall robbery listed in stable condition

WHITEHALL, Pa. - The clerk that was shot by an armed robber in Lehigh County is now in stable condition.

The robbery in Whitehall ended with a police chase and deadly shooting in Allentown this weekend.

Authorities say officers were forced to shoot 43-year-old Joseph Hodgin of Coplay after he crashed into police cars and pointed a gun at them.

Investigators say Hodgin had just robbed the Whitehall Pharmacy and shot the clerk.
