Police arrest Tony-Ray Arvelo for allegedly stabbing 2 at a Bethlehem party

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem police arrested a man Wednesday for allegedly stabbing two people at a house party Saturday.

Tony-Ray Arvelo, 24, of 618 Chew Street in Allentown, is accused of stabbing a man and a woman at a party in the 500 block of Ontario Street in Bethlehem just before 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police found the two victims, each with several stab wounds. They were taken by ambulance to St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill. Police said neither victim had life-threatening wounds.

Arvelo is with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of instruments of a crime.

He was taken to Northampton County Prison under $300,000 bail.
