Police: Bullet comes through wall, hits woman in head

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem police are investigating after a woman was struck in the head by a bullet that went through a wall in her home, authorities say.

It happened in the 1500 block of Fairmount Street Sunday night.

Police Chief Mark Diluzio said the 52-year-old woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill where she's in serious condition.

Detectives and the police forensic service unit were at the scene processing it for evidence.

The incident is currently under investigation, and police expect to have more information Monday.
