Police: Cocaine trafficker nabbed

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A man that police call a "high level Bethlehem based cocaine trafficker" is behind bars on $2-million bail.

Police found $55,000 worth of cocaine, $4,800 worth of heroin, $2,000 worth of marijuana and 69 oxycodone pills in a garage belonging to 34 year-old Carmelo Sanchez-Agosto Wednesday.

The garage, located in the 1000 block of East Sixth Street in Bethlehem, was one of two properties police searched on warrants. The other was Sanchez-Agosto's home in the 1000 block of East Fourth Street in Bethlehem.

Sanchez-Agosto was arraigned before Judge Jackie Taschner on a slew of drug charges.

Sanchez-Agosto was remanded to Northampton County Prison when unable to post $2-million bail.
