Police investigate double homicide in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Police are trying to figure out who pulled the trigger in a deadly shooting in Allentown early Wednesday morning.

Allentown police said the call for a shooting came in around 1:15 a.m.

When officers arrived at the gas station in the 1200 block of Airport Road they found a 28-year-old man already dead with a gunshot wound.

A 36-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the body. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Both of their deaths have been ruled homicides.

An hour after the initial call, a 24-year-old man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He is listed in critical condition. Officials have not said if he is cooperating with the investigation.

It's still unclear what exactly took place, but a clerk in the gas station store said the shooting happened around a gas pump.

Police were seen gathering evidence and towing away a vehicle.

Anyone who may have information should call Allentown police at 610-437-7721.
