Police investigate gunfire in Easton

EASTON, Pa. - Easton police are investigating after a vacant garage/apartment building and stop sign were hit with bullets.

Police were called to the area of Eighth and Lehigh streets around 2:20 a.m. Saturday for a report of shots fired.

There they found evidence of gunfire. Police said a vacant building and a stop sign were struck, but no victims were located.

Witnesses said a a silver Nissan Altima with "blue" headlights fled the scene.
