Police nab man accused of robbing Northampton County market at gunpoint

BATH, Pa. - Police in Northampton County say they have tracked down the man responsible for robbing a supermarket at gunpoint Friday.

Daniel Preziosi, 24, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with Friday's robbery at Wunderlers Market on the 400 block of East Main Street in Bath Borough.

Police say they arrested Preziosi around 1:30 a.m. as he was getting into his car outside the Fox Gentlemen's Club, which is the same address as an apartment he resides in. Police say they were able to find the vehicle thanks to a description from witnesses.

Two victims of the holdup positively identified Preziosi from a photo lineup, according to police.

Police say Preziosi was wearing a hooded sweatshirt when he robbed Wunderler's Market at around 2:15 p.m. Friday.

Police say he threatened the clerk with a handgun and walked away with some cash.

Preziosi faces robbery, assault and several other charges. He is being held at Northampton County Prison on $75,000 bail.
