Police officers honored for tackling aggressive driving

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Police officers from both Lehigh and Northampton Counties are being recognized for cracking down on aggressive driving.

The officers were honored Wednesday morning at the Whitehall Township Municipal building for going above and beyond in their participation in the 2013 Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Program.

They cracked down on seat belt violations, speeding and other traffic violations.

The North Central Highway Safety Network says Pennsylvania's aggressive driving-related fatalities dropped more than nine percent from 2012 to 2013.
