Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Bethlehem

Driver stayed on scene.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem Police confirmed officers were on scene of an accident involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

It occurred around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Broad Street.

Witnesses say it appears a woman was stuck by a SUV. Her condition is unknown but witnesses say she was rushed to the hospital.

The woman's belongings were strewn across the road.

Witnesses say the driver stayed on scene.
