Police release photo of unidentified suspect in home invasion

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. - He's been on the run for more than a week, investigators in Northampton County hope you can help catch the man wanted for a frightening home invasion and robbery.

Washington Township police released a picture Friday of the man they say was part of a duo who posed as home buyers to gain access to a local house on April 30.

Investigators tell us once the men got inside, they tied the homeowners up, then robbed the place. Now officers need your help identifying the man who got away.

"If you know who this man is, contact police," said Officer Scott Miller. "We would certainly appreciate a call immediately, any and all leads will be followed up expeditiously."

Investigators say the suspect is about six feet tall and 170-pounds, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

"Our initial beliefs were that he had Easton ties, and we still actually believe that, it's just now known if he's still in the Easton area or not at this time," added Miller.

According to police, the other man involved was 41-year-old Steven Tomino. He was arrested the night of the crime after allegedly leading troopers on a chase.

Officers say they were able to recover everything taken from the Delaware Drive home, but they want to get the man on the run behind bars.

"Any help that the public can give us would be greatly appreciated," Miller shared.

If you know who the unidentified black male is, call Washington Township police at 610-588-2040.
