Police search for alleged coin thieves in Lower Macungie Twp.

LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. - Officials say two males entered the 24-hour self-service Coin Laundry in Lower Macungie Township on Feb. 28 and left with $400 in coins. 

The 2 men allegedly used a screwdriver to break into 18 machines to steal the coins around 4:30 a.m. Officials say "several thousands of dollars' worth" of machine damage and maintenance resulted from this incident. 

The males fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to contact Fogelsville Pennsylvania State Police at 610-365-1438.
