Incident 'resolved' after reports of possible armed, suicidal person on Lehigh's Goodman Campus

Police said there is no danger to the community

Bethlehem, PA - Lehigh University Police were dealing with an incident overnight near the school's Goodman campus.

Around 10:45 p.m. Monday, students were advised to stay away from that area after reports of a possibly suicidal, non-Lehigh affiliated person. LUPD said the person may have been armed.

Police from several departments came to assist the university police.

University police sent a tweet around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning that the incident had been resolved, and there was no danger to the community.

Police have not yet said what happened.
