PPL donates to Lehigh Valley Children's Centers

Some of the Lehigh Valley's littlest learners are getting a big boost from PPL.

The utility company donated $30,000 to the Lehigh Valley Children's Centers on Wednesday.

The contribution was made possible through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.

The money will be used to provide scholarships to pre-K students in the area.

LVCC provides early education and child care programs. It has more than 20 locations in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
