Principal faces off against grocery-store manager

NAZARETH, Pa. - It was a face-off in Northampton County Friday between a Nazareth principal and a grocery store manager.

Christine Bruce, principal of Holy Family School, faced off against Giant manager Joe Salvero in a series of 90-second challenges.

"The five challenges were the produce bagging of oranges, the grocery can stacking, the meat-ball making, the cupcake decorating and of course the egg walk," said Madison Bodine, an employment associate at Giant.

It was all part of Giant's A-plus rewards program which benefits local schools.

While the competition may have been a little skewed in the grocery store's favor, Principal Bruce did end up winning and took home a $1,000 donation for Holy Family.
