Probation doubled for councilman charged with false ID

ALBURTIS, Pa. - An Alburtis, Lehigh Co., borough councilman saw his probation sentence double Thursday.

Kyle Bower was sentenced to two years of probation on escape and false identification charges he was facing in Berks County.

Bower was also sentenced to two years of probation last month on a stalking charge.

That was in Lehigh County court, and that happened to be the same day he was sworn in to borough council.
