PSP Strong drops damages claim against sign shop owner

PSP Strong is no longer looking for monetary compensation in its lawsuit against a Plainfield Township sign maker.

The Luzerne County nonprofit group has dropped its damages claim against Nolan Kemmerer.

The group sued Kemmerer after he used its logo in his effort to raise money for state trooper Seth Kelly, who was shot and wounded last year in the line of duty.

PSP Strong says it's not dropping the lawsuit itself, just the damages part.
