Remains of Bath man found in New Jersey

NETCONG, N.J. - It has been more than a year since a man from Northampton County was reported missing by his grandmother.

Now remains found in North Jersey last spring have been identified as those of 22-year-old Dylan Bright, but investigators still aren't sure how he died.

Family and friends have been searching for Dylan Bright since the 22-year-old disappeared in June of 2015.

His grandmother in Moore Township, just north of Bath, called in the report.

On April 16, 2016, authorities were alerted to bones found near Furnace Pond in Netcong, Morris County, New Jersey.

There are still remnants of crime scene tape at the location where the bones were found.

At first those conducting the recovery efforts wouldn't say if the bones were human, but the National Missing and Unidentified Persons database reports those remains are Dylan Bright.

Bright moved to the Lehigh Valley after attending school in New Jersey and according to the Morris County Prosecutor a cause and manner of death have not been determined yet.

Friends of Dylan Bright have been expressing their condolences via a social media page dedicated to Dylan.

An obituary also lists services for February 11th in Newtown, New Jersey.
