Rep. Daniel McNeill's widow to run for vacant seat

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The widow of late State Representative Daniel McNeill will accept a nomination from the Democratic Party to run for his seat, according to a press release issued Monday.

Jeanne McNeill will officially accept the nomination to fill her husband’s term representing the 133rd Legislative District on Wednesday.

Representative McNeill passed away suddenly on September 8, 2017.

The special election will be held on December 5, 2017 within the 133rd Legislative District, which consists of Coplay, Catasauqua, Bethlehem (Lehigh County) Fountain Hill, Hanover Township (Lehigh County) portions of Salisbury Township and most of Whitehall Township.
