Report: local foreclosure rate holding steady

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A new report says foreclosure rates are holding steady in the Lehigh Valley.

Real estate data firm CoreLogic says the rate in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area was 3.05% in June.

That's the same rate reported in May, and it's down from 3.92% over the year.

The local foreclosure rate is higher than both the state and national rates, which stand at 2.07% and 1.7%, respectively.
