Reunited and it feels so good!

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A family is reunited with their dog after a report on 69 News.

Stacey Arriaga said three weeks ago while walking her 3 1/2 year old dog, Bella, she got away from her and her husband to chase a rabbit. The family, she said, is going through a tough time and Bella was very important.

Arriaga said she would was searching for the beloved dog and posted a missing pets forum hoping somebody would recognize and find Bella.

"I would get call after call, 'we've seen your dog, we've seen your dog,'" said Arriaga. "But it was never my dog."

Until, a friend texted her and noticed a story airing on 69 News about a need for donations at the Lehigh County Humane Society.

The message said a dog featured in the video looked like Bella.

"It was her," said Arriaga. "It was definitely her."

Arriaga said she took her son and went to the humane society early in the morning before it even opened. Immediately, she said her son recognized Bella and the reunion was captured on camera.

"The minute we walked in that room it was like love at first sight all over again," said Arriaga.

Arriaga said seeing her children's smiles once Bella came back home made everything better.

"Please donate to th ee shelters because if it wasn't for them who knows where she would have ended up," said Arriaga.
