Coroner identifies victims of Sunday's deadly Route 309 crash

UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - The Lehigh County Coroner's Office has identified two people who died Sunday in a crash on Route 309 in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County.

The crash happened around 8:55 a.m. on Route 309 at West Saucon Valley Road.

The coroner's office says 77-year-old Fern Priestley died when a vehicle she was a passenger in was involved in a crash with two other vehicles at the intersection.

The driver of one of the other vehicles, 51-year-old Tim Hank, also died in the crash.

The crash closed Route 309 for about four hours Sunday.

All lanes are now open.

A 69 News photographer at the scene said Route 309 had been closed in both directions. Traffic was being detoured off Center Valley Parkway.

In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, Upper Saucon Township Police and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating the crash.
