Santa and ABATE bring Christmas a little early

34th annual Toy Run to benefit kids this Christmas

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - There was an early Santa sighting in Allentown Saturday.

Ol’ Saint Nick was seen on a motorcycle as he drove to the Children's Center of Allentown.

He was there for the 34th annual Toy Run organized by the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education.

The group met up with Santa at Dorney Park where they hit the road to donate a large number of toys to the Children's Center.

The children, as well as the adults, were excited to see Santa.

"It's still my favorite part when I see Santa come around the corner from 7th Street onto Union Street. It's still a thrill after all these years," said Children's Center Director Betty Druckenmiller.

The donated toys are going to more than 100 children currently enrolled at the center.
