Santander Bank in Emmaus, National Penn Bank in Hanover robbed

EMMAUS | HANOVER TWP., Pa. - Police in the Lehigh Valley are investigating a pair of bank robberies.

One of the holdups happened late Thursday morning at the Santander Bank, 1215 Chestnut St., in Emmaus, Lehigh Co., according to emergency dispatchers, who could provide no additional information.

The other robbery happened at the National Penn Bank, 2400 Schoenersville Rd., in Hanover Twp., Northampton Co., according to Chief Roy Seiple, Colonial Regional Police Dept., who said a detective would have to provide additional details.
