Saquon Barkley's father reaches settlement with LANta

The father of Penn State's star running back who claimed he was wrongfully prosecuted and was the victim of discrimination, has reached a settlement with LANta.

Saquon Barkley's dad, Alibay Barkley, had brought a federal lawsuit against LANTA, the Allentown Police Department, the City of Allentown and more, after he claimed he was racially profiled and had excessive force used on him, while riding the bus back in May 2017.

Barkley's lawyer, John Kotsatos, said a settlement for an undisclosed amount was finalized March 27 after a scheduled conference.

"In light of the facts and circumstances, all the parties were able to find an amicable resolution that was favorable to all the parties involved," Kotsatos said.
