Man turns himself into police in Allentown shooting

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Sean Davis, 26, of Allentown turned himself in to Allentown police Wednesday  in connection with a Feb. 24 shooting near 5th and Washington streets in the city.

He is is charged with critically injuring a 24-year-old man in that 10:30 p.m. shooting.

Davis has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person, reported Assistant Police Chief Jorge Medero.

He was arraigned Thursday morning and sent to Lehigh County Prison. He's being held on $80,000 bail and must post 10 percent to get out of jail.

A preliminary hearing on Davis' case is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.  March 13 before Magisterial District Judge Patricia Engler.
