A report says Pennsylvania has the most structurally-deficient bridges in the country but only ten percent of those bridges receive federal funding.
So Senator Bob Casey is trying to bridge the funding gap with his latest proposal.
He announced a plan Thursday to increase federal funding for bridges owned by counties and municipalities in Pennsylvania.
The bill would increase federal funding by $30 million.
