ShopRite delivers 600 gallons of milk to local food bank

NAZARETH, Pa. - As part of The Great American Milk Drive, ShopRite delivered 600 gallons of milk to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania.

ShopRite associates were in Nazareth on Wednesday to help deliver the milk.

The Great American Milk Drive  initiative helps deliver fresh, nutrient-rich milk to local kids in need.

Throughout the month of October, customers at the ShopRite in Stroudsburg were able to make a donation at checkout to help feed a child in our area.

In a press release issued by the company, ShopRite said, "milk is one of the most requested but least donated items at food banks, meaning children in need often miss out on the essential nutrients that milk supplies."
