Shots ring out in Easton neighborhood

Shots fired

EASTON, Pa. - Police are investigating after several shots were fired in an Easton neighborhood.

Police said it happened in the 1100 block of Elm Street around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police said witnesses reported seeing a vehicle -- possibly a newer 4-door white Nissan Maxima -- driving east on Elm Street when a person or persons in the car fired several shots into the air.

Fortunately, no one was injured and no property was damaged.

Police found several shell casings in the area.
