Sinkhole found in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Crews in Bethlehem are taking precautions after finding a small sinkhole in the city.

PennDOT officials discovered the hole on Pembroke Road just after 4 o'clock.

That's between Stefko Boulevard and Marvine Street.

Officials say the hole may have expanded since its discovery -- but could not confirm that detail.

The westbound lanes on Pembroke have been closed since crews arrived and have not re-opened.

Officials are still investigating.

No word on when those lanes will re-open.
