SoccerFest returns to ArtsQuest

BETHLEHEM,Pa. - As soccer fever sweeps the Lehigh Valley, ArtsQuest in Bethlehem has announced plans to host SoccerFest and a viewing party event at SteelStacks.


Soccer fans are invited to watch the upcoming U.S. Men’s National Team qualifying matches as they are broadcast on outdoor television screens at Levitt Pavilion.


The last two U.S. qualifying matches for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be shown Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. versus Panama and Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. against Trinidad and Tobago.


The 2018 World Cup Russia viewing event is set for June 14 - July 15.


In addition to live broadcast of the games, the festival will feature a variety of soccer and family-oriented activities, including live music, arts and soccer clinics. It will also include a free soccer clinic for children with disabilities.

ArtsQuest officials said that more than 50,000 attended its first SoccerFest in 2014.
“We score a goal any time we have the opportunity to demonstrate to our visitors the Lehigh Valley’s passion for soccer,  as well as its ability to bring together diverse groups of people for sport and fun,” Discover Lehigh Valley President Mike Stershic said.
