Firefighters battle blaze on Linden St

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A sprinkler system helped firefighters put out a blaze at an old Allentown industrial building Friday morning.

Crews said the structure at 315 E. Linden Street caught fire around 7 a.m.

They say luckily, the building was equipped with a sprinkler system, which helped to put the flames out quickly.

The three-story building had smoke throughout, but firefighters said the damage was contained to the first floor.

The fire was out in about 20 minutes, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
