State Rep. Joe Emrick opens new Slate Belt office

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. - State Representative Joe Emrick, a Republican serving Nazareth, and his staff will soon have a new office.

He and his team are moving from their current Mount Bethel Plaza location and opening a new Slate Belt district office at 447 Blue Valley Drive in Washington Township Jan. 2.

"Our first and foremost goal is to serve residents of the 137th legislative district in the most efficient and effective manner possible," Emrick said. "This new Slate Belt office location is being opened with you, the constituent, in mind."

Emrick says the protection of constituents privacy has been a concern at his current location, but assures this will not be a problem at the new office.

In addition, the Blue Valley Drive location offers plenty of parking, a large conference room, and is near a higher volume of traffic on Route 512-- making it more accessible.

"While we are changing office locations, there will be no change in the level of quality and personal service we deliver to the taxpayers for whom we work," Emrick said in a statement. "We look forward to continuing to serve residents of the Slate Belt."
