Storm cleanup underway in Bushkill...

BUSHKILL TOWNSHIP, Pa. - We went from spring-like weather on Saturday back to winter on Sunday, but in between severe storms swept through the region.

Some residents are still cleaning up the mess from the storms that swept through Bushkill Township, leaving a path of destruction.

"It came through pretty quick," said Dennis McDonough who's home was damaged in the storms.

A Bushkill Township volunteer firefighter says he saw more damage this past weekend than what Super Storm Sandy left behind.

People who live here say it was a frightening sight.

"Seeing the trees bend over to where the tops were touching the ground," said Bob Baranowski, who's home was also damaged.

Now people who live here are cleaning up the mess from the storm that rocked their homes.

Crews are out fixing poles and downed wires because when the storm hit the power went out.

Neighbors say they are thankful to the police and firefighters who are helping them get their neighborhood back to how it once was before the storm.
